• The ability of Copyright Agency members to continue to create is under threat. The COVID-19 pandemic has created widespread disarray, major literary festivals have had to radically change their programs, publishing faces significant disruption and it’s harder to connect and share our ideas in person.

    Further, all major galleries have stopped having openings, which is starting to have an adverse effect on visual arts sales.

    That’s why Copyright Agency has developed a program of $375,000 in additional funding, and brought forward allocations of $1.8m in Cultural Fund grants, in response to the fundamental challenges our members are facing at this critical time.
